ending

It was back to work at the cafe today and we were super busy! Sarah and I started taking down the Christmas decorations- we removed the baubles from the tree but left the lights and the actual tree until tomorrow. My own tree will be staying up for a while yet - I like its cheery lights in the corner of the living room in the evenings.

I am looking at it now as I sit with my cup of tea. I’m about to do some knitting and listen to “The Dark is Rising” on BBC Sounds, as suggested by blipper SusannaHelen. It is an adaptation of the book by Susan Cooper and set at this time of year, so ideal for dark nights in front of the fire.
