A long yarn

Too wet today to take my camera out (though in the event my walk was mostly dry) so here is a picture of some yarn I was lucky enough to find in the charity shop yesterday - a whole big cone of it! Not enough for a full garment but I'm thinking matching hat and gloves, and maybe a scarf too if there is enough.

Went to Hobbycraft this morning for candle wicks and a couple of other bits. Found the other bits but forgot the candle wicks! Hey ho. Candles made with substandard string, and we will have to see if they work.

The rest of the day has been spent doing various catching up and preparing jobs, ready for the new calendar year tomorrow.
