One woman's pest is another's adorable friend. This little one was snuffling around at the lake earlier.

It's been a delightful day. I give myself full moons and new moons to ignore the pressing obligations and do whatever I want, so today I have spent mostly working on my reading journal for next year. It's a little outside of my comfort zone (I'm a pattern-follower, not an art-creator) but it has been so much fun giving myself permission to take as long as I need and let it not be perfect, and I have to say I am really proud of the result. So excited for the start of January to start filling it in!
