Mono Monday: Week 571 ...
... Reflections/Reflective.
As the year winds down I've become very reflective of the year. And have come to the conclusion that 2024 was pretty good.
We have had some great times ... including two wonderful vacations. Richard retired from work in June. And we are both relatively health.
Our first vacation (holiday) of 2024 was a blast ... celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in the Northumberland, England area. We had an amazing time in this beautiful area of England and met some wonderful fellow blippers ... you know who you are!
Our second vacation was to Virginia Beach and happened sort of on a whim. We were supposed to be going to North Carolina but Hurricane Helene had other plans for us. We had to make other arrangements and Virginia Beach was our destination of choice. And we had a wonderful time here.
I hope everyone has a happy, healthy New Year. Here's to 2025!
Thanks to McCaviti for hosting Mono Monday all this month. I tried to add a mirror reflection to my photo but apparently I'm not that clever. This cat is one of two strays that our neighbor takes care of. I've only gotten a few pictures of these cats but I was happy when I saw this one as I can see that the ear has a "nick" in it ... which means he/she has been spayed or neutered. And the other cat has the same ear nick ... so happily there won't be any stray kittens!
