Blue Sky!!!

The forecast was good today, so I drove in to Norwich first thing. There was an amazing sunrise as I drove along, but nowhere suitable to stop for a photo. I headed for the cathedral where I took this photo. The normal doors were shut so I assumed the refractory was closed and headed for Jarrolds. That hadn’t opened yet, so I went to the market and got two plain leather belts, one black and one tan, much better quality than in the shops and much cheaper. Then I got a tea and cake at Jarrolds and some Molton Brown in the sale. I went to the castle to see the Turner exhibition, it was nice but mostly a landscape exhibition by several artists, one being Turner. I prefer his later work and there was a lovely painting I’d not seen before. I intended to go to see Wicked at Vue, but when I got there virtually all seats were sold and it was packed, so I’ll go when the kids are back at school. I got a William Morris duvet set in the sale at John Lewis and a fitted sheet, also in the sale. The main purpose of my visit was to get a new Citizen eco drive watch, and I managed to get one of the three I’d liked online in the sale at 40% off, and they adjusted the bracelet for free. A largely successful trip - I found the crowds a bit overwhelming though.
