Arpoador, Ipanema

Walked along the front of Copa and crossed over into Ipanema. The arpoador section is just at the start of the Ipanema stretch. It’s always got lots of life, with people selling things, folk playing games, little food and drink stalls and an outside free gym. Walked into familiar streets just a couple of streets back from the beach there and had lunch in Didier, with definite French vibes. We’ve looked at it a few times, but it got our vote today. We shared a buffalo mozzarella salad and then shared a main course too of steak and chips, French style.

Back home for a rest and then a few games of Yahtzee in Tipicamente up the road.
