Grey start

OH was going to football (12.30 ko) so I decided on a river walk while he was out.  It was grey again but I had a podcast and wanted to stretch my legs.  I did my normal route but only 8000 steps so not that far?  I spotted some more trees grubbed up - pears this time.   There have been so many changes to the orchards around the village over the last 10 years - probably all imported fruit now?

I messaged S and she replied that she was going to the cinema this afternoon and wondered if I fancied going with her but I had decided on sewing, so declined, but did book tickets for OH and myself to go on Thursday.

I spent some time on the computer and have been debating various holiday ideas - the thought of getting away is there but I know the thinking and planning is often better than actually being away?

OH home by 4.00 and we had earlyish dinner and he won at scrabble.
