A MALTESE STAMP

Another quiet day at home for me.  Weather was dark and dismal again so it didn't encourage me to go out.  Felt tired so I haven't done much except watch TV - and fall asleep at regular intervals.  Hopefully I will have more energy tomorrow ( I'm going out for lunch with Neil ).

Looking around for something to blip I found the envelope that contained the Christmas card from my friends in Malta.  It had a few different stamps on and Ive blipped the one showing a bottle of Kinnie.  I remember drinking Kinnie on past holidays in Malta.

Kinnie is a Maltese, bittersweet, carbonated soft drink that's made from bitter oranges and wormwood extracts. It was created in 1952 by Simonds Farsons Cisk and is still produced in Malta today. Kinnie is amber in color and has a slightly sparkling quality. It can be consumed straight or mixed with alcohol, and is often used as an aperitif or digestive
