Amaryllis time

Nearly all my amaryllis plants are in bud at the same time this year. This is probably the showiest of the all. It has put up two flower stems simultaneously.

I’ve had a quiet day doing bits and pieces at home.

I have also picked up and knitted the front bands for a little jacket I made a while ago. All I need now is to stitch it up!

Margret not only had some of her regular visitors, but Kate was able to take Jenny to see her in a wheelchair. They are not too many rooms apart on the same ward. It will have been good for them both. They have been friends for many years.
