Christmas lights

I can't believe that today was the first time that I saw Dubai Mall with its Christmas decorations! It looks lovely. Unfortunately, there wasn't much time at all to explore/see more and get photos from other parts of the mall. The aim today was to get to M&S, specifically for mince pies and Brussels sprouts. I'm so glad we didn't do any shopping on Boxing Day as the mince pies are now half-price (I got 5 boxes!). The Brussels sprouts are still in their freezer. Other bargains came home with us (sticky toffee sauce, cheese twists) :)

Other than that, it's been a very quiet day. I have bought a second bottle of cough syrup. G went to church to attend an 8 AM contemporary service that HTC is trialling. She discovered it only takes place on the 2nd and 4th Sunday. At least she got to experience the coolness of the morning.
