Back on the fens

We went to check out our house which has been let since we moved to France. It was a bit upsetting to see the state of things particularly as it has been a managed let with a local estate agent. The wooden floor in the kitchen was brown with ingrained grime and all surfaces were dirty. The house will need a deep clean, the rooms will need repainting and the carpets will need replacing. The garden is now a wilderness and will need professionals in to restore it to how it was. We will get the work done and the either try one more let or sell. Afterwards we collected some items from the loft and then took the dogs for a walk.
