The Pointy End

It was another wonderfully lazy day in limbo at the trailing edge of 2024… I woke early, made coffee, and enjoyed the pre-dawn silence. The weather seems to be getting on board with the limbo theme, too. A thick fog rolls in, giving vibes of reality fraying and fading away at the edges—straight out of a Stephen King novel. The boys happily watched movies or, more accurately, debated the merits of the IMDb Top 100 movie list at length and ad nauseam. I made sausage rolls in the afternoon, and Dash made a couple of loaves of his amazing honey bread.
