Toil & Trouble
It’s a very welcome Saturday, with little to do all day. Although it remains cold, damp, and foggy outside, I have no reason to go there, so I have no reason to complain. We’re returning the house to normal after Christmas, but having all the boys home is still lovely. Ed took Vanessa and her sisters to lunch at the Best Western Hotel on Dover seafront, and Dash had a haircut in the afternoon. Milo is spending most of the weekend with Liv and her family.
Today’s blip resulted from a bit of experimentation with the Freewell 45x macro lens on my iPhone. This is a very close-up view of a bubble in liquid… only about 2mm across. It’s part of the bubble level built into the clamp of a tripod ball head sitting on my desk. One of the challenges I’ve been finding with this lens is that the magnification is so high that it is hard to find subjects small enough to fit within the frame.
