Langsett, and the memory tree

Just three of us chez nous on Christmas Day this year - MrM, Angus and me. We started off with our now traditional breakfast of Porridge, honey, cream, and just a nip of whisky!

After unwrapping a few gifts, to make the most of the daylight we decided on an afternoon walk around Langsett reservoir, and up on to the moors  to Mickleden Edge. It was mild, and overcast for the most part, but when the sun shone the colours in the landscape were fabulous. We passed the memory tree (extra) as we walked through the woods towards the end of the walk.

Home to cook the Christmas dinner - turkey and all the trimmings. Delicious, but no room for pudding afterwards...
