Lone Horse State Of Mind, East Farleigh
The weather has not improved today, if anything the pockets of fog and mist have got denser. Today was our usual food shop day but as we had bought a lot of extra food for Christmas that will last us into next week we only had to buy the papers and some butter (which we'd run out of). Of course, we had to have our usual trip to The Horseshoes for our regular Sunday drink. As the pub sits higher on the North Downs the fog was really heavy up there. Next to it is a riding school and in the adjacent fields the horses are allowed to roam freely when not required for lessons. Due to the inclemency today's image leant itself to the black and white treatment. I did literally get a shock when I took my shot as when I leaned over the fence to capture my composition I got a small electric shock from the wire that topped it off!
