The Grand Priory of the Knights of Malta

This lovely Renaissance palace stands in the old city of Arles overlooking the Rhone River.
Today, it has become a museum (Musée Réattu). But it is a reminder of a brilliant past that accounts for Arles heritage acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.
At the end of the day, the sun rays bring a rich golden light over the old stones as if it were a symbolic tribute to the past.
