Between a Meow and a Purr

This is the book I am reading right now. It’s a sequel to the first one of the series entitled ‘The Dalaï Lama’s Cat’. I read that one on my Kindle.

My little cat, Honey, doesn’t seem to purr ! When I stroke her, I feel a vibration in her throat! One could almost say that she has a silent purr. She does however make a trilling sound. The sound is described as being between a meow and a purr. It expresses happiness and contentment. I love it!

As one may imagine, these books touch on the subjects of spirituality, Buddhism, compassion and the present moment.

I like books that open my horizons and remind me of the true values of life.
