Organizing

Not much of a blip today - this is the only photo I've taken! Although it's a very sweet little viola :-)

I'm gearing up to go to Mexico in 6 days...well, my flight leaves at 5:40 am next Friday. I have house sitters coming to stay with Izzy and Sophie, and to mind my house and plants. I'm really happy to have them here for the 14 days I'm gone, but it does entail a lot of organization and cleaning! 

The site I found them on is Trusted Housesitters which is actually based in the UK I believe. It's been a seamless journey so far, and I really like the couple that is coming to stay. They've been retired for a year and have been driving their camper van all over the country and Canada house/pet sitting! I don't pay anything except for a membership on the site. They get a vacation in Portland, Oregon in January and the use of my house and car. They asked what it's like here in January and I told them that it was wet and lush and very green, and that usually it only rains and doesn't snow. 

Anyway, lots of packing and cleaning and organizing! I did get out for a walk today, but otherwise nose to the grindstone!
