Place and time

My house is directed north-south, when I stand on my balcony I'm looking straight to the west, towards Kalmar, in the morning i usually go outside through the entrance during my toothbrushing ritual, if the weather permits, facing the east. I'm always in the center of things around me, a comforting feeling.

The day has been very slightly longer since the solstice but it's not visible yet. The clouds lifted so I could see the sunset about twenty past three, just to the left of the tree. In the summer solstice, the sun sets slightly to the right of my neighbours roof ridge, some 45 degrees difference. That's a long way for a sun to travel and a lot will happen during that time. I look forward to that.
