Cockermouth murmuration!

The Cockermouth murmuration is back!

We were walking over Miller's footbridge just after 4pm this evening when we could see and hear thousands of starlings in formation!

A murmuration is one of the nine wonders of the world. They make all sorts of different shapes for ten minutes or so, then they suddenly dive down and roost for the night.

I'm sure they'll be another of my blips before too long.
