Black on black

This is my sister-in-law's dog. He is huge and very black. I gather he is territorial, so you don't want to sneak up on the house and try to break in, but otherwise he is very sweet natured - if a little large...

He is very black and fluffy - actually quite fine hair and very soft, which makes him a real pain to photograph as you can't get any definition and the camera struggles to even focus on him.

Today we had left overs, of which there was far too many, had a small wander around the house to stretch our legs and let the dogs run a little and then we drove home through the fog and mist. The drive was uneventful but very dull and it's quite amazing how many idiots are prepared to speed in the shifting fog which at times reduced visibility to less than 50 metres. Most of the time the visibility was between 100 metres and a kilometre, but it did vary quite a bit and the though the road is in pretty good condition all the way, it's only two lanes, so not much space if something went wrong...!
