Xmas stable

The translation of much of the bible into modern languages is fraught with many issues, including significant cultural differences and major issues with the original Hebrew text. The standard nativity story is riddled with significant historically errors and things we know are factually incorrect and impossible - and were clearly made up. Other elements such as the birth in a stable are probably cultural errors, where the medieval understanding of how people lived at the time and how they would have lived at the supposed time. The stable is probably a mistranslation and would probably have referenced a place in a building where people and animals cohabited and was normal - rather than being seen as a modest place as seen with later eyes.

Anyhow today's Xmas blip is a stable - slightly run down and apparently it's been sold and is going to be redeveloped into a fancy rural home for someone. Been with the in-law's all day and rather over full and took the dog out for some fresh air and took this blip. I made my walk quick as it's actually cold in the mist and if I'm out for too long they will put even more food on my plate...!
