The Esplanade, Rishton.

This is a beautiful part of Rishton throughout the year.
I am not sure why it was named The Esplanade, but it is on the main Blackburn Road, once an important coach road, between Burnley and Blackburn.
The Council gardeners work hard to make it this lovely.
So too do the many bees I have been trying to photo, but the wind has been quite strong and blown the flowers about, especially the long stemmed ones, like cosmos.
