Lost the recipe!

I know that somewhere in my house, or one of my sisters', there is the recipe my mother used to use for Christmas ring - but on the day before Christmas Eve, can I find it?
This is a made up version from what we remember with scone dough balls rolled in butter and mixed spice, interlayered with dried fruit. As the flour is gluten free and inclined to hardness I do not have tremendous hope for the texture. A dollop of spiced rum should help...
