Boxing Day Clearance

A late breakfast of ham and eggs, then Chris and I headed to Huish Park for the Boxing Day game against Eastleigh, while Tess and Sophie had a bike ride and Kate dropped an ailing Joel at home.

We were treated to an entertaining 2-2 draw, although the result was disappointing after we went 2-1 up in the 90th minute, only to concede an equaliser 3 minutes later in added time.

When we got home, the “girls were engrossed in doing a jigsaw puzzle we’d bought Sophie.

Another evening of board games and cards ensued.
