Note to self…

I chose my own Christmas present this year - a macro lens.

I have had a little play with it already and the detail it can capture is great.

So today, even though I was out and about doing various things during the day, I thought I would use one of my practice shots from this morning for my blip.

I am pleased with my first efforts, but note to self ‘don’t be a lazy lump - get the tripod out when trying to capture detail like this’.  :-)

In extras, some of my other attempts. Which was my silk sweet peas. The one thing that it did reveal when I uploaded the images was just how dusty they were, so I plonked them in a bowl of water for a freshen up, which is why they look glistening and wet. They were.
