Darkness fades, colour
surges...then the sun appears.
Such is a sunrise

I was a bit of a slug this morning and almost lost a lovely sunrise. I looked at my phone at 7:15 thinking I should plug the kettle in and get on with my day. As I traipsed down the hall to look out my kitchen window there was some glorious colour spreading out over the Gila Mountains. I scrambled into some clothes so not to scare the neighbours and got out to the front of my house for some morning shots. 

I'm in for the day with a newsletter that needs to be produced and a painting that needs some attention. It should be a beautiful and relaxing day here in the Foothills.
