After an eventful day

We enjoyed a lovely pork belly roast with H&M, lots of chat and laughter.

It was rudely interrupted though by a commotion in the street. It turned out a neighbour’s housekeeper was walking their four dachshunds when a completely irresponsible visitor to a home down the street left their power breed dog in the front garden and didn’t close the gate properly.

The outcome the lady was injured but managed to save three of the wee souls while the last passed away in my arms after we finally were able get the beast tasered and he dropped his prey.

Not at all the way we expected the day to go but we were glad to have Sue arrive and lift the mood a little.

Needless to say neither of us slept very well.
