A splash of colour

Our garden is looking pretty colourless at the moment but, when I went out to fill the bird feeders and change the water in the bird baths this morning, I noticed that a pelargonium plant I had put into an old metal watering can last summer had somewhat unseasonally come into flower.

So that was today’s blip sorted!
