Boxing Day Walk

More eating, drinking and general conviviality today. And for some video games on the TV screen - a very excited 13 year old (and nieces).

Late morning, after a very late and relaxed breakfast, we walked down to the trail way (which follows the route of the former Bournemouth to Bath railway, and here is part of the Stour Valley Way) and took the route to Stourpaine and the excellent White Horse pub.

After initial dense mist it cleared a little and the cloud hung low , covering the tops of Hambledon (in the image), Hod and Shillingstone Hills.
