Christmas Bee

The day started with a blue sky. I walked the length of the garden, viburnum and mahonia were both in flower, and both were attracting honey bees. I don’t think I’ve seen a bee on Christmas Day before.

I’ve been learning about my sister’s family’s Christmas Day traditions. Breakfast always starts with porridge accompanied by Bucks Fizz, which was a good way of starting the day. I’ve had mixed feelings all Christmas, but have been very well looked after all day. It’s been good fun, three generations is a bit different for me at Christmas.
