resting

I’ve seen quite a few photos on blip today of blue skies, but here it was just mizzle. Joe and I went out anyway, taking Jess up to the forest, where she had a great time and got very muddy.

I’m now relaxing with my knitting - a different hat pattern which is harder to follow than the last one, so I am making slower progress. I downloaded an app called “knit companion “ which is helpful in showing where I’m up to, and am using curtain rings as stitch markers between the pattern repeats.

D has made a huge pot of root vegetable madras, which I am looking forward to tasting very soon.
