Reindeer at Christmas…….

Our decorations would not be complete without our motley crew of reindeer!
We went for a long circular walk this morning through the Moor Hall Estate once more. (Parking the car at the rear of the hotel again)
It was very misty, thick in places.
Moisture dropped off the overhanging trees.
After lunch I watched the very last episode of Gavin and Stacey, which was brilliant. Even if you’ve never seen the series this was a piece of comedy and pathos which could stand alone in its own right,
Then a long phone call with my friend Mary up in West Cumbria, who is facing chemotherapy next week, having decided that for her the major surgery to remove the cancer in her oesophagus was not for her, being 77.
The Consultant at the RVI Newcastle had given her a graphic account and then listed the options.
She said he was great.
She has had a horrendous 12 months having had her husband die suddenly from cancer 4 days after being admitted to Carlisle hospital in November 2023.
We were on the phone an hour.
Now about to have our dinner, or left overs from yesterday, and a bit more tv maybe later,
