A Boxing Day Coffee

I had to pay handsomely in tights for this photo of my Stromness Selkie friend and her husband as they left Quartermile after an hour’s  hilarious coffee meet up. Yes Starbucks in the precinct was open this morning - after all if the Edinburgh City Council  encourages hordes of visitors to come to the city for the festive period  it behoves them to encourage at least some cafés to open on Boxing Day.

Apart from that excursion, I have been singularly lazy, although I regret to say my jaws have had too much of a work out  and I have already dipped into the Irish cream. In fact I have watched a 3 episode documentary on play back about the Assad family’s grip on Syria. I don’t know when it was made but it wasn’t up to date and Bashar al-Assad was still in power at the end. 

There might some light relief TV viewing tonight accompanied by some chocolate intake. This can’t continue and it will have to be back to normal tomorrow.
