Boxing Day

A quiet one, after yesterday's festivities.
The morning was mild and still, and I got out into the garden for a couple of hours... raking up dead leaves and doing other low-key jobs.  This really felt good.  Nik hit the online clothes sales, as prices are cheaper here than in NZ.  Richard and Erin chatted in the kitchen while R made soup. 
At lunchtime the sunrise colours of a blood orange really caught my eye, as I was making a chicory, orange and avocado salad.  Perfect with the turkey leftovers :-)
