Chocolate

As tradition demands and although Chris and I had been waiting patiently since about 8.30, the four assembled only at 10am to open presents, eat chocolate, drink coffee etc.

The fun started at about 10.30 when the electricity went off and the RCD wouldn't reset. And then it did only to go off again at about 11. So began the process of checking which circuit was tripping and then finding out which appliance was tripping the circuit. Of course it had to be the central heating boiler so that was that off for the day. Luckily it was mild. Thankfully we have an Aga keeping the kitchen warm. Fortunately, the stove in the living room can heat the rest of the bottom of the house and electricity can do the rest. 

Apart from that, relaxed.
