Firsts

At the risk of disappointing anyone, no, I did not play rugby today. 

I did take on Perth Parkrun, however. It starts and finishes very close to the local rugby club. I have Blipped the entrance to the clubhouse because it took my memory back to playing there (against Perthshire) several many decades ago. 

It was the first time I have run the Perth course. It was the first time I have done a Parkrun on a Wednesday. It was the first time I have done one at This Time of Year. 

It is a lovely course, much of it alongside the River Tay. It is flat! Yes, I mean it. 

Flat! 

In Scotland... 

In other circumstances I might have celebrated with beer for brunch, but I had to drive again later. The Last Wife invited me for dinner again, shared with Junior, his wee sister and the Last Wife's New Man. 

All good... but no alcohol. Again. 

I will share something I watched while having my second coffee this morning. It almost ended up choking me as I laughed. It take a lot to make me laugh at that time of day.
