Sale Fell

I heard a noise in the night, so I crept downstairs...

It was Santa taking a photo, with his mobile phone, of the presents he had left under the tree for proof of delivery for Amazon.

We did a 2 hour fell walk up and around Sale Fell. The wind was really strong on the top, rain too!

However, we found a spot out of the wind for our picnic lunch ( brioche rolls with gorgonzola and chutney, satsuma, + delicious chocolate  ). The rain had stopped by then, too!

The photo is looking down on Bassenthwaite Lake. 
Keswick is to the right at the end of the lake. Skiddaw is to the left, but it was covered in cloud.
