Tradition

Despite my lack of belief, did what has now become tradition on Christmas Eve at 6:00pm,  the time that most Germans have their Christmas present 'Bescherung' followed by meal..

Viisit to Ottobeurer Basilica to hear last chants of the Benedictine monks evening prayers before they scuttle off for their pressies. Then have the Basilica to myself. Light 7 candles for important people in my life.

In fact, have the town to myself. On one extra photo of the market place, you can see the only car is mine - bottom right.

Then home for a snack & prepare turkey for tomorrow.
