Candlelit

Preparations more or less done, we welcomed friends around for afternoon drinks and nibbles in what, over a few decades, has become a Christmas Eve tradition.

Then final food and table tasks completed fore heading out to the Watchnight service conducted primarily by candlelight. A lovely and moving way to move into Christmas Day.
