More candles

Tonight we had the candlelit Watchnight service which was so atmospheric and wonderful. The singing, especially by the Chamber Group, was lovely. A great way to celebrate the arrival of Christmas.

Earlier in the day we had our Sunday morning service. The heave morning rain gave way to sunshine then high winds.

Our dog was not disturbed by the weather: as long as he gets his walks and treats he is happy. He perhaps should be disturbed by the dressing up but he takes it in his stride ( if he were walking that is!)

Friends maintained the tradition of a visit on Christmas Eve mid-afternoon.
