Christmas at the Royal

This morning we took the ferry to Cowes on the Isle of Wight. We drove to St Helen's where we did a very pleasant walk down to Seagrove Bay and back, although it was a bit misty. Then we drove on to Ventnor where we are staying for Christmas.  
At the hotel we've enjoyed a carol concert before dinner. This is the striking Christmas tree by the main staircase.
