Christmas Eve

Late morning,  we went for (what turned into) a sixteen mile circular  bike ride via Farley church. Although not  far from Romsey or Winchester, the church  is situated high up on downland, with only a farm nearby, making it a very quiet and peaceful spot.  I have blipped it before. Farley church Farley church

This afternoon, as the rain set in and the light started fading, we listened on the radio to the Nine Lessons  and Carols, coming live from Kings College, Cambridge, which always heralds the start of Christmas for us.
