I hope no one wanted last minute shopping from the Gingerbread Shop. Half of Grasmere shops and cafes seemed to be closed.

The Christmas tree outside Baldry’s Tearoom looked impressive as I drove past and I walked around to blip it. Unfortunately it didn’t look as good on camera. It’s in the extra with a few others.

I’m not sure how I ended up in the Co-op after my last comment yesterday. I think I realised on the way there that I only had 2 eggs left. Once in I thought of other things that might be good to have in for the next week (to save me carrying shopping back up the hill). Lots of £s later I carried a full bag out. Oops.
