Squelch

A rather muddy Heygate Lane this morning. This section is in a ‘dip’ and so all the mud and water collects in pools. As well as being a bridleway, It is a ‘working’ farm track - and you may notice the tractor tyres have left their mark…that really helps to churn things up :-)

I did need to find some long, wet grass to clean off my boots after wading through this!

Added an extra of a cheeky squirrel feeding in the ‘spill tray’ under the ‘squirrel proof’ feeder - grrrr.

We have come to stay with our daughter for a couple of nights. Our son has arrived too so we are all together for Christmas. Promises to be a very noisy and hectic 48 hours.
