Cambridge
Today I returned to one of my favourite places in England. I lived in Cambridge for about seven years after university (I didn't study there!) and made some fantastic friends during my time. Today was a reunion of the Musketeers (Helen, Emma, Deanna and me!). We called ourselves this because we always stuck together and it was 'One for all and all for one!' We worked in high stress busy place and always supported and helped each other out, plus had some real giggles and fun times along the way too.
We all left that place many years ago and have moved on to new lives and new jobs but still keep in touch. Today we met for supper and a catch up. It was a little too brief but so lovely to spend some time with special friends. I then drove Helen back with me and we are going to spend a few days together before she flies back to Spain.
There are some things I don't miss about Cambridge - the traffic being one of them and the price of parking. 50p for every 10 minutes down one road!!
It is still one of the most beautiful places to visit though. This is King's College.
