MORE FESTIVE FUN

I collected O&P and we went to surprise The Rev who was singing with his chaplaincy team choir. They performed in the main lobby and people sang along and several nurses join in during their lunch breaks. It was really lovely.
Then I went to Jan’s for our present swap and homemade mince pies. Sadly Elaine couldn’t join us as her husband is back in hospital as he has reacted really badly to his chemo. The Rev went to visit and he said he’s not well at all.
###Then I collected O&P again for a walk up to see the local lights. It’s a cul de sac of about 20 houses with 17 or so covered in lights. One had life size elves in their car and another put on a musical light show. All done for great charities.
In the evening they stayed and had dinner. Then whilst the lads prepared the 3 bird roast from scratch. P and I curled up with hot chocolate and the film The Holiday.
