Zoning

You might think that D and Jess are saying “wake me up when it’s all over” but this is how they do their relaxation every evening before tea :-)

I’m about to do my relaxation by lying on the sofa with my knitting. I have been in Dumfries all afternoon - last aqua class and sauna before Christmas, doing a few last minute tasks in town and then the Food Shop. There are only the two of us and D only eats once a day but we still need to stock up on vegetables, especially when Lidl is selling carrots, sprouts, parsnips etc for 8p a bag. Lidl was quiet(ish) but Tesco (15p veg but not a sprout in the shop, which is odd because people always think say they don’t like them) was not. The worst part was getting out of the car park. I watched the end of “Titanic” while the queue went down a bit. No shopping for another week!

Our internet went down last night, no doubt due to falling trees. I am using D’s hotspot to wrote this - we can just about get phone reception if we balance it on the windowsill in the front room. Normal service should be resumed by tomorrow night, they say. Until then, I shall keep calm and carry on knitting.
