Cariad

I posted a picture very similar to this, last year when I was doing the photo a day project. I'm posting it today because it's where I had lunch with all my big girls.

I received a WhatsApp message on our little family group, yesterday, saying they were all going to be around and that none of them were working and so we should get together, so today we met at Cariad for lunch.

It's not uncommon in these situations for the girls to ask me why I'm being quiet but the truth of the matter is that I just love sitting there watching them, somehow all managing to talk at the same time, flitting seamlessly from chat to bickering to unfettered giggles.

It's also rather nice being teased by people when you know they love you. Even "But, dad, *no one* reads your blog." :-)
