Behind the scenes

One of the organist's tasks I tend to tackle in out of term time is tidying this room where most of the behind the scenes organising goes on.

This is mid-printing the carols sheets needed for the Crib Service on Tuesday, our biggest service of the year. It all goes more smoothly if I have it all in one booklet rather than dodging around between books, sheets or papers.

Also in the printing out tasks for today is the January readings and prayer booklets for our housebound congregants. The rest of us get the information on the weekly newsletters.
